The Gift of Education: Technical School

Detail page of Gifts For Real Change, 1 month and 1 year of technical school

Upon graduation from high school, students may elect to pursue a vocational or technical trade, such as automobile repair, industrial mechanics, or culinary arts. They do so at INFOTEP, the National Institute for Professional Technical Formation in the city of Santiago, where they live for the two or three years' duration of their program. With a new trade, these students will become professionals at the service of their families and communities.
