This article by EAB Director John McLaughlin, which appeared in the September 15, 2006 edition of National Catholic Reporter, describes the May 2005 raid by Dominican forces upon the community of Batey Libertad. Many EAB scholarship students, including Yuly Ramírez Estafa, the subject of this article, were unlawfully deported as a result.
